Massive Hornsby weighing in excess of 20 tonnes, still sitting in their original building, on their original base. Known as Dunmunkle Sump Oilers Installed in 1904. Believed to be the only engines in the world in their original position and working. Originally used to generate power for Wimmera Inland Freezing Works refrigeration operations in Murtoa from 1911. Dedicated volunteers have fully restored them back to their original working condition. Watching ALL FOUR fire up, and running, is an unforgettable experience.
